BOONE, Iowa – Nearly $4,000 in lap money will be at stake in five special races at the 28th IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals.
One hundred dollars is at stake each time a lap is scored in the Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions for Modifieds.
From start to finish, the companies paying lap money to the leader are EQ Cylinder Heads, Intensitee, Kum & Go, Wal-Mart, Fareway, Gigglin’ Goat, Diamond Oil, Graham Trailers, Golden Corral, Baymont Inn & Suites, Race Tech Info and Dirt Modified magazine.
Roddy Ranch Racing LLC ponies up $50 for each lap in the Modified Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational, the only race of the five where the qualifiers have already been determined.
Leading the Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champions for Stock Cars will pay $75 per circuit, courtesy of EQ Cylinder Heads, Intensitee, Kum & Go, Wal-Mart, Fareway, Gigglin’ Goat, Diamond Oil, Graham Trailers, Motorsports Photog raphy and Sybesma Graphics.
Missouri fan Steve Overbey provides $1,000 in lap money for the Arnold Motor Supply Race of Champions for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods. The leader gets $50 for each of the first four laps, $100 on laps five and six, and $150 for each of the last four laps.
Big Daddy Race Cars pays $50 to the leader on each of the 10 circuits in the Arnold Motor Supply Hobby Stock Race of Champions.
The All-Star Invitational is on the Friday, Sept. 10 program at Boone Speedway. All four races of champions will be run Saturday, Sept. 11.
