Front stretch facelift underway
Dan | May 09, 2011 | Comments 0
With the old guardrail removed and transponder loops currently being installed, drivers and fans will notice a big change to the front stretch at the Boone Speedway next week.
A transponder loop and other electrical wiring encased in flexible conduit is being bored through the width of the front straight at a depth that it can’t be damaged or destroyed by track preparation
equipment.
The improvements are a commitment to providing quality of weekly programs, special events during the regular season and to the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals.
