Lap money, cash bonuses add $6,000-plus to purse at Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – More than $6,000 in lap money and cash bonuses will be paid out at the 29th IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Cenex.2011 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals

Roddy Ranch Racing LLC ponies up $25 for each of 20 laps in the expanded Modified Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational on Friday, Sept. 9.

Four race of champions events are on the Saturday, Sept. 10 program.

One hundred dollars is at stake each time one of the 12 laps are scored in the Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions for Modifieds.

From start to finish, the companies paying lap money to the leader are Toby K’s Hideaway, Intensitee, Kum & Go, Wal-Mart and Fareway, all of Boone; EQ Cylinder Heads of Las Vegas, Nev.; Diamond Oil of Des Moines; Graham Trailers of Ida Grove; Golden Corral and Baymont Inn & Suites, both of Boone; Power Lift Racing Products of Jefferson; and Dirt Modified magazine of Independence.

Leading the Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champions for Stock Cars will pay $75 for each of 10 circuits, courtesy of Marshalltown Speedway; Intensitee, Kum & Go, Wal-Mart, Fareway, Diamond Oil, Graham Trailers, Motorsports Photography of Grimes and Sybesma Graphics of Sanborn.

Big Daddy Race Cars of Norfolk, Neb., pays $50 to the leader on each of the 10 circuits in the Arnold Motor Supply Hobby Stock Race of Champions.

Missouri fan Steve Overbey again provides $1,000 in lap money for the Arnold Motor Supply Race of Champions for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods. The leader gets $50 for each of the first four laps, $100 on laps five and six, and $150 for each of the last four laps.

The first bonus of the week will be $250 paid on Labor Day, to an Ironman qualifier for that evening’s Deery Brothers Summer Series Late Model feature participating with Sunoco Race Fuel.

Mach-1 will pay $100 bonuses to the highest finishing Sport Compact driver from each state in the first-ever Super Nationals feature for that division on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Modified qualifying feature winners Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Sept. 7-9 get $200 bonuses from Derr Farms.

Comp Cams will give $500 to the top finishing Northern SportMod driver competing in Saturday’s main event with a claim engine. The Modified winner is also eligible for an extra $500 if they have a 24-inch logo on the nose of their race car.

Karl Chevrolet bonuses of $250, $150 and $100 go to the top three Northern SportMod finishers with crate engines.

Bushore gives $100 bonuses to the highest finishing Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod customers in their respective main events.
