Racing underway at Boone Speedway

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 7) – Just half an hour later than originally scheduled, the first green flag flew Friday afternoon at Boone Speedway.

Rain has given way to blue skies and the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational headlines night six of the 30th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals.

The 30 All-Star drivers will sign autographs in the Air Force Fan Zone during the first track prep session. Their 30-lap feature precedes five Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champions heats.

Qualifying features for the Modifieds and Stock Cars determine the front eight starters on the outside row for the respective Saturday main events.
