BOONE, Iowa – Fans looking to meet and greet with their favorite drivers, and maybe score an autograph or even a picture or two, will have plenty of opportunities to do so throughout the week of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
The Fan Zone, located south of the main grandstands at Boone Speedway, is the site for numerous events each day of America’s Racin’ Vacation.
The Late Model feature winner will sign autographs beginning at about 10 p.m.
Card games to determine the starting grid for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Hobby Stock race of champions events will be held at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively, on Tuesday.
Monday’s Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod qualifying feature winners sign autographs at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sport Compact champion takes his turn in the Fan Zone spotlight starting at approximately 9 p.m.
Sybesma Graphics Best Appearing Car awards will be presented to Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod winners at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Special career wins awards will be given at 7 p.m. followed by autograph sessions for Tuesday’s Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod qualifying feature winners.
Draw for starting spots in the 12-car Karl Crate Clash is at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Top four finishers from Wednesday’s Modified and Stock Car qualifiers sign autographs starting at 6 p.m. Past Modified Super Nationals champions have been invited to be part of a special 7 p.m. session in the Fan Zone.
Drivers starting that evening’s Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational are the center of Fan Zone attention starting at 4 p.m. Friday. Qualifiers from the Thursday features for Modifieds and Stock Cars take their turn in the tent starting at 6 p.m.
Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champions and Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions card games are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Two autograph sessions bring Fan Zone activities to a close, with Friday’s Modified and Stock Car qualifiers signing at 4 p.m. and Racing For A Cause drivers taking over at 5 p.m.
