May 11th Saturday is finally here Hot Laps at 6:45 and racing at 7:30. 1st Annual Diva Dash tonight with 10 racecar drivers. Happy Hour in the Grandstands 6-7, $2 bottles of Budweiser. $2 tall boys in the Pits all night long. Let’s get ready to race!!!

This Saturday April 27th Hot Laps are at 4p and Racing at 5p. $2 tall boy beers in the pits! Beginning this Saturday the 4th place feature winner in each class will receive a FREE 6 pack of Budweiser! In the Grandstands, Racing Rascal kids will be going on a Scavenger Hunt. Each kid that returns with the listed items will win a prize. Get ready to have a FANdemonium good time!

Races for Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Boone Speedway have been cancelled due to rain. Join us next week for the 2012 season points opener.

Pit gates open at 5:30pm, grandstands open at 6pm. Hot laps at 6:45 pm with racing at 7pm.

Boone Speedway starts new season with April 2 Frostbuster

BOONE, Iowa (March 28) – Four IMCA divisions see their first action of the 2011 season at Boone Speedway during the Saturday, April 2 Frostbuster special.

The IMCA Modified feature pays $1,000 to win and is a qualifying event for the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $500 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods for $400 and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250.

National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be given. Entry fee is $30 for Modifieds, $25 for Stock Cars and $20 for both SportMods and Hobby Stocks.

Gates open at 2 p.m., hot laps are at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 5 p.m. Pit passes are $25. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $5 for students ages 13-17 and $2 for kids 12 and under.

RACEceivers are required in each division. First weekly point races at Boone will be April 9.

Frostbuster specials sporting the same sanctioned divisions are on race cards April 1 at Marshalltown Speedway and April 3 at Benton County Speedway in Vinton. Mach-1 Sport Compacts also run on Sunday.
