Boone Speedway hosts April 8 IMCA Frostbuster finaleDan Engledow
BOONE, Iowa – Boone Speedway hosts its annual IMCA Frostbuster special on Saturday, April 8.
IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win, along with a berth on the ballot for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational that evening. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $500 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods for $400 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250 to win.
Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 3 p.m. Hot laps are at 4 p.m. and the first green flag is at 5 p.m. Grandstand admission will be $15 for adults, $5 for students ages 13 to 17 and free for kids 12 and under. Pit passes are $25.

The first night for track points at Boone is April 15.
All four divisions also run at Frostbusters April 5 at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, April 6 at Benton County Speedway in Vinton and April 7 at Marshalltown Speedway.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be given at all four Frostbusters and a $1,000 point fund will be paid in each division. Entry fees each night are $30 for Modifieds, $25 for Stocks and $20 for both the SportMods and Hobbies.
