Transponders are mandatory for all Modifieds, Stock races

BOONE, Iowa – Transponders are required again for all Modified and Stock Car competitors at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  The electronic scoring devices will be used in all races for the two divisions Wednesday through Saturday, Sept. 7-10. Drivers will be able to use their own MyLaps/ABM compatible transponder at Boone Speedway or rent one for $30 for the week. One-way radios required for all divisions at Boone

BOONE, Iowa – One-way radios will be mandatory for all drivers in all divisions competing at the Sept. 5-10 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Numerous one-way devices, such as the Nitro-Bee, are legal for use at Super Nationals; specific information on those devices and channels is to be announced. If they do not already own such a device, drivers will be able to purchase one on Manufacturers’ Row during the week.

Main event qualifiers in 6 divisions get replica door panels, hoods from Five1seven Designs 

BOONE, Iowa – As if the sense of accomplishment wasn’t enough, main event qualifiers in six divisions at the Sept. 5-10 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will take home something extra for their efforts during the 34th annual event. Sample, Ward complete Fast Shafts All-Star field 

BOONE, Iowa – Cory Sample and A.J. Ward will complete the Friday, Sept. 9 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational starting field. Sample, from Winnemucca, Nev., has the highest national point total among Modified drivers on the All-Star ballot who have pre-registered for the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Five Super Nationals champions go home with new engines

BOONE, Iowa – Five of the champions crowned at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals will make the trip back home with new engines. The winner of the first-ever main event for Southern SportMods, on Monday, Sept. 5, opening night, earns a standard weekly race engine courtesy of Centex Motorsports.  Centex also pays the Southern SportMod champion $25 per lap lead, which could be worth as much as $750. Duffers tee off in Friday tourney at Super Nationals 

BOONE, Iowa – Cedar Pointe Golf Course hosts the 27th annual Duffer Nationals Tournament, to be held Friday, Sept. 9 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
