Ken Schrader joins IMCA Modifieds at Boone’s April 4 Frostbuster
BOONE, Iowa (March 25) – Ken Schrader joins the IMCA Modified field for the Saturday, April 4 Frostbuster special at Boone Speedway.
The popular NASCAR driver, along with top IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified regulars from across the Midwest, will be chasing a top prize of $1,000. The feature is a qualifying event for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.
Also on the Boone card are IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars running for $500 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods for $400 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250 to win.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded.
Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 3 p.m. Hot laps start at 4 p.m. and racing gets underway at 5 p.m.

Schrader will also compete at Frostbusters April 1 at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, April 2 at Benton County Speedway in Vinton and April 3 at Marshalltown Speedway. IMCA Stock Cars, Northern SportMods and Hobby Stocks also race those three nights.
Top five drivers in each division earn shares of $1,000 point funds.
Schrader last followed the Frostbusters in 2012, winning once and finishing no worse than sixth in five feature events.
