5-13-17 The Boone Speedway saw new weekly winners emerge from all six classes on Saturday night, where fans enjoyed another beautiful night of exciting racing action. Frostbuster wins to Dickerson, Munoz, McBirnie and Stanton

April 8, 2017 Boone Speedway hosted night #2 of the 2017 IMCA Frostbuster series races on Saturday night.  The fans were treated to some spectacular racing put on by the 146 cars, with drivers from nine states and Canada, that competed. DONNELLSON, Iowa – New dates have been announced for two IMCA Frostbuster spe­cials. Lee County Speedway at Donnellson now hosts the Thursday, April 6 event. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow. Benton County Speedway at Vinton becomes site of the Sunday, April 9 finale, with racing following 4:45 p.m. hot laps. Boone Speedway hosts April 8 IMCA Frostbuster finale 

BOONE, Iowa – Boone Speedway hosts its annual IMCA Frostbuster special on Saturday, April 8. IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win, along with a berth on the ballot for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational that evening. A new online form is available for the 2017 Race Season.  There will also be no fees for the 2017 Season unless you are renting a pit stall.  Click here to fill out and submit your registration. **Drivers will still need to fill out a 1099 form at the racetrack. Boone starts 50th season with March 24, 25 special

Engine auction adds $18,200 to Saturday Super Nationals purse

  BOONE, Iowa – The post-race auction of Saturday champions’ engines at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s added $18,200 to the purse paid out to other drivers in those four divisions. Modified champion Ricky Thornton Jr.’s engine sold for $6,500 so each of the other 32 drivers starting that event receives $203.13. BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 10) – Ricky Thornton Jr. rated his third win of the day Saturday at Boone Speed­way as the biggest of his IMCA Modified career.
