RACEceivers required this season at Boone Speedway

BOONE, Iowa – Drivers competing at Boone Speedway will be required to do so with RACEceivers beginning this season.

Raceceiver

Raceceiver will be required at Boone Speedway starting with the 2011 season.

The one-way radios will be mandatory for weekly Saturday night shows, specials such as the Frostbuster and Memorial Day events, and the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals.

RACEceivers were required for use by Modified drivers at Super Nation als last season.

“We have seen a gradual migration toward required use of RACEceivers, which make it easier to realign cars after a caution or warn drivers of potentially hazardous situations on the race track,” said IMCA Vice President of Operations Brett Root. “Tracks like Boone Speedway all over the country are mandating the use of these one-way radios.”

RACEceivers can be purchased from a number of sources, such as retail speedshops Speedway Motors, JR Motorsports and Performance Bodies.
