Early entry deadline six days away for IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals

Super Nationals 2009 Modified FeatureBOONE, Iowa (Aug. 18) – With less than a week to go before early registrations are due, more than 230 drivers are entered in the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals.

One hundred and twenty-five Modified drivers have already sent in a registration and/or paid for pit parking for the Sept. 6-11 automotive racing extravaganza at Boone Speedway.

Also in hand are registrations and/or pit parking checks from 46 Stock Car drivers, 42 Karl Chevrolet North­ern SportMod drivers, 22 Hobby Stock drivers and three Late Model drivers.

Entries postmarked or made telephonically by calling the IMCA home office (319 472-2201) before Aug. 24 are $40 for Modifieds, $50 for Late Models and $25 for Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and Northern SportMods.

Entry fees paid after next Tuesday are $60 for Modifieds, $70 for Late Models and $45 for Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and SportMods.

Eligible drivers should also sign up for the race of champions in their respective divisions when submitting their entry.
